smoke?

ya i thought i needed rings but that isnt the problem when i start it for the first 10 mins or so when i rev it real high it blow a tad bit of white smoke is this my values? or maybe jus oil on the head pipe getting hot or something?

like one day it smokes bad and the next it dosnt smoke?

no i mean everyday i've started it so far its done the exact same thing

it ju sbarely smokes to but its noticeable and it smokes at the top of the gears jus for the first 10 mins or so

well im not a pro or anything nor do i know a crap load about engines but it sounds like when your engine heats up and your rings expand because of the heat which would make them fit the bore perfectly
but like i said i dont really know for sure mabey someone else dose but thats just my geuss

neways smoke on startup is very common and goes away after a few minutes, it's nothing to worry bout, oil pools in the head right over the exhaust valves and as it sets the oil runs down the valve seals and into the exhaust ports, or even cylinder, takes a few mins for it to burn off, but no biggy and nothing to be alarmed about

lol when he was burning oil most of the time the oil gets into the header and the packing and sits there for a while and when it heats up poof smoke!:o

yea ugly nailed it, white smoke is generally water or condensation burning offf.. blue is oil
