Engine problems need ideas

I have a Honda 300ex when idleing the engine runs fine and even under high power still pulls wheelies but at about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle a loud grinding/ratteling noise comes from the engine. this happens when in nuetral and in gear...so far im thinking starter or valve train problem...has anyone else ever had this problem

Same thing happened on my 300ex, ended up just being the heat sheild on the header! Check both the bolts on that before you go digging into the motor.

i have an after market header but thats what i was thinking maybe just somethings loose im gunna find out this weekend

says u got a webcam.. did u get the hardweld rocker arms with that?

yeah i did i got brand new hard faced rocker arms... i had the hole valve train rebuilt
