sorry to jack your thread, but i've never seen one of those before, what's the purpose, and where exactly does it go? Sorry, just curious...

It repaces the steering stem clamp.It allows the handlebars&stem to move forward slightly via the adjustable spring inside to take the felt shock and feedback out of the bars.It is truly amazing the difference that it makes.the only drawback was the price.I think they were around $300 new when Houser first introduced them.

Also the steering stem bearing you see laying beside it is spherical(kind of like a heim joint) to allow the stem to move as needed.It's a pretty neat piece.

No, the flexx bars allow for movement up and down this wrist rester allows for movement back and forth of the steering stem..:D
