Nope it's banned over there. It's not life in prison but they do take it away if you're caught with it. My uncle just sent this over yesterday and I thought it was pretty funny. The guy in the picture is his roomate.

actually, the iraqi's drink. i know this because i worked with them for a while over there, and at the same base there, the italians got to drink... it is a rule called general order 1a which prohibits alchohol, porn, sex, etc...just another wonderful rule we have over there. but you can drink in quatar! and there is another base over there but i just cant remember which one... but all of the other bases in the aor have that rule

and na beer tastes like grapes and crap! can you believe that is what they throw parties with over there???? gave us that crap for christmas and new years last year:mad:
