Something weird just happened..

My dad just woke up, went to take a piss and looked out our bathroom window and someone was looking in the window. He comes in and gets me and we walk outside and hear someone running.

I think its possibly some local punk trying to steal my quad soo I dont know if I should go out and wait in the garage with a baseball bat or just go to sleep and hope for the best...

Where I live theres quite a few mexicans so thats a possiblty as well..

heres the best thing to do, harbor freight tools has motion dectors which you can place wherever you keep your quad, then you can put the alarm in your house by your room or wherever, there cheap, and then get there video camera setup which is cheap, just hooks to a vcr, put it on record for 12 hrs from the time u wont be around anything is missing check the tape chances are those kind of thiefs wont hide there identity, just dont brag up you have servillence equipment......dont be cheap id spend 100 bucks on this stuff before id risk loosing 10-30000 worth of toys....

or perhaps your dad has been smoking angel dust and no one was outside

he shoots the mini 14 as fast as he can so its like a fully auto and flame from the barell shoots like 2 feet high fire, those kids JUMPED in that car and took off soooooooo fast

funny as hell

also, don't be afraid to shoot them with a paintball gun, and CHAIN YOUR QUADS UP, im ganna chain my 250r up when i get it and just pay attention and make some traps

Cant there isnt a door or anything wide enough that I could. Belive me if I could I'd have it in here in a heart beat. I kinda hate the garage lol.. My step moms a pack rat, so I have to climb over mounds of useless BS, fall flat on my face then get to the quad.. I'm sure if anyone tried to steal it they would give up half way!

i would think they would go for the bikes first, if i was theif i would take one of those bikes over the quad. i got one of those signs that says " trespasers will be shot, survivors will be shot again" i hung it on my garage and scatered a few 12 guage shells on the ground by it.

have a chain going through the two motorycylce wheel tires and the frame on your 4 wheeler. no one would be able to move all three of those at once by themselves

I was thinking about putting i bolts in the floor then chaining everything down.

Then getting motion lights, and possibly try the driveway patrol stuff.

Oh man it is fun, i rode my 400ex last year but it was a little deep, we got 28" of snow :scary: , after i made one path it was awesome, we usualy ride the roads if there really icy.

BTW---- what is this driveway patrol? driveway patrol is something you setup in your driveway and everytime something goes in front of it (example...someone pulling in your drive), it will make the transmitter inside the house beep, basicaly just letting you know someones there, so if you were waiting, you can go and meet them in your driveway...or in the middle of the night, if someone pulls in un-welcomed, you will hear it.

ya my friends think im retarted for chainin up my 400 in my garage, but it means way to much to me to even think about takin chances. Plus, what if my dumb sister forgets to close the garage on her way to work or somethin, then someone could roll off with it.


i would much rather be safe and confident then worrying 24/7 about my 400, which i do anyways, everytime i walk by the garage i look out their and check to make sure its still chained up lol
