What about the valve clearance???

The aggresive drop in uses stock valve lash.

Valve clearances are set to stock and no, a drop in cam still needs to be shim checked. A drop in cam only mean you don't need new springs, head machining, or valve guild clearancing. You may or may not have to change shims if you are within spec but you will need to look at the owners manual for clearance. I have the CRF / Sparks.

I would definetly check the clearance.. The last 20 or so that I have put in have required no new shims !!

yeah, definatly check the valve clearance. mine were off a ways from the factory...
