hot cam

I am going to be getting a stage two hot cam and need to know if I need the shim kit?

I put in the stage 2 hotcam and didnt need any shims. My friend got a CRF cam and he didnt need any shims either. But every job could be different though.

I picked up a hotcams shim kit @ k&k for like 65 bucks. I has all the shims you will ever need

all i did was measured to see what size shims i needed and went up to my dealer and bought one shim there....it was $.55

haha, my local shop charges $6.50 per shim, what a joke.

Yeah my dealer told me like $9.00 over the phone, but when i got there with my discount it was 55 cents:eek2: ...........OK i'll take that:D
