Am getting ready to place a 440 kit in our 400ex Wanting to go with a 12.5-1 piston and oversize valves and no base gasket with a thin head gasket for maximum squish without shaving Also looking at a Webb cam I am going to change connecting rod and was wondering if I could get a little input on what people here have to say about Falicons knife rod and Carrillos rod. All feedback appreciated. Also if anyone knows where a good price on these rods is available please let me know Thanks, Mark

I ran the Carrillo in my 440 with no probs. It has been in same bottom end for 3 years and owner still runs it.

I bought mine straight from carrillo--www.carrilloind.com for $175 though price may have went up since. Crankworks and Sparks racing are theyre two main retailers.
