it is just r, but its more recognizable when you say er

LOL... is the ER just the electric start model or are they both called that now? Also, quadracer can you post a pic of the electric start and motor on the quad? Thanks

Lou, you ditching the CRF for a 450r? I must say, i love the crf, but kicking sucks sometimes...


I couldn't sell the 416 for anything either... Im stuck.:(

never really rode a 04/05 so i cant tell you whats faster but by spec's the 06 should be.

the electric start models have the E in the model # trx450er but.. same thing.

ill try to get some starter pics for yea.

NO im not getting rid of the crf the 450 will be my woods bike.

is the thumb thrttl stiffer on the 06 due to the flatslide carb, compared to 04/05. yfz 450 is real stiff.

Where do you guys ride? Im in NJ if you ever want to go rippin sometime. I have the 04. Id love to ride the 06 and see how it differs.

yes....the 06's are wayyyyyyy faster. I know for a fact that they can run with an 04 that has a 12:1 piston.....head porting.....CDI box....fmf exhaust...and hrc cam.

These things FLY!!!

That's crazy that the '06 is faster then the '05 R. I just put new jetting, and K &N on my bike due to when it was stock it rode like a turd. And it wasnt me it was the bike. These bikes have tons of potential. So all in all it seems like the '06 came ready to rock.
