I have a set of axis long travel triple rate shocks with comp and rebound adjustments, and I was wondering on the rebound, when you turn the dial to set it, which way is slow, and which way is fast? One way that you turn it, it goes towards the shock body, and the other way that you turn it, it goes away from the shock body. Also, what setting would you guys suggest for that, I am in C class doing harescrambles and I dont do very much jumping. Thanks.

Look at the bottom of the shock when you turn the adjuster and you can see it move either up or down...Down, looks like its shortening the shock, will be less rebound, or slower..The apposite for fast rebound, looks like the shock is getting longer.

if they are set up for your weight, get your ride hieght adjusted for XC racing then just test and tune from there and see what feels best to you because your gonna get 1000 different opinions on how to set them up

that sounds a little confussing to me.the way your describing it your saying turing it down or out makes it slower i believe that is incorrect.
when you turn the rebound knob clockwise(in or up) that makes the rebound slower.if you turn the knob ocounter clockwise(down or out) that will make the rebound fater.

Turning the adjuster to the right slows it down. Turning left speeds it up.
