how much are peps and where can you get them?

another option is to try the shocks I run.....Elka You can go to www.elkasuspension.com or to www.hsdracing.com and find out more about them. They are not as much as Axis, but are built just as well, if not better in my opinion. The guy that recommended PEP's doesn't even have them listed as a mod he has.

I would get the PEP ZPS fronts for $895.

I have rode a ex with 600 dollar peps and a one with 500 dollar works i could tell a little difference. Maybe because of the way they were valved. but the guy with the pep has never bottomed his out and he weighs more than the guy with the works. the guy with the works has bottomed them out a few times. I like works but i would just spend 100 bucks more and get the peps. So i dont have to worry as much.

That picture you attached is a quad that is for sale on EBAY! I only hope you weren't trying to pass it off as your own Worse yet, that quad picture you attached is a 250R......To answer another question about Elka shocks having ZPS...YES, they call it SSD, self sagging device; but it is the same.

I would get them from Nac`s Racing. The Roll stuff is sweet. There was another R on ebay a while back that had the Lobo front and rear end too. Which PEP`s are you getting? Standard Race, Limited Mass, or ZPS?

Ya nacs is great. They are my favorite. I also like moto man and rocky mountain. We need nice people running our atv stores instead of some stores that have a bunch of @$$es running there phone lines.

If you Buy some shocks from Nacs you should buy the Nacs outerwears they have nacs logo on them they look sweet. They only come in one color but i still like them.

i think that 2500 is way too much to spend for arms and shocks.

Ya but ive seen a nacs houser 250r racing somewhere. I think i saw somewhere that nacs carees the houser products. I might have been dreaming though. Team nacs races lonestar anyway and im not going to pay 700 to 800 for a arms. That 440ex is the SHIZZZ NIT!!!! I would rather have that 250r above.:devil

No sir I haven't but will soon,,,,Yeah Houser is a good product,,,I've not heard anything bad yet,,,and I've read about the other brands especially lonestar,,,I might use their axle but thats it,,,their stuff breaks to often or cracks..Laeger is good but the price isn't,,,I know a guy who runs on the national circuit and said he's yet to even dull the paint on his houser bike,,,and broke just about every Lonestar product he's put on it...now for those of you with lonestart products not bashing you,,,hopefully yours will last longer and not give any problems,,,and nacs400ex I'll get them pictures posted ASAP..

They cost around 500 dollars.

08-01-2001, 11:18 AM
Yup,,,,,just make sure to mention that you found Houser products on the web and send John Houser an email.....You'll get a %6 discount this way,,,so ya save about $25.00,,,,which is almost your shipping cost,,,can't wait ta get a red powdercoated swingarm ta match...and a red steering post also...but that'll be awhile,,,just bought a house so the 4 wheeler budget is getting changed a little...:(

i ordered a dg bumper and ac propegs from nac's racing. the nerfs were good but the picture showed a krome bumper and i recieved alloy. for the price (90 bucks) i thought that, that price was good i recieved an alloy bumper, its all right but from other places i could have gotten it cheaper. well what eva.

LIKE TEAM FACTORY RACING...STAY AWAY FROM THOSE ***** PIRATES!!!
Also, Chaparral is a bunch of priks.

- Rocky Mountain ATV
- Moto Man
- Carbides Motoworld
are all excellent places to buy ATV stuff.
