32:1 H1R, Never fouled 1 spark plug!!!!!!! I've owned several two strokes over the years and have never fouled one on the 250R and have owned it for five years, I change it every couple months just to be safe so I'm not stranded somewhere!!:grr:

Anyone that runs anything less than 32:1 no matter the oil, need to learn to ride harder and quite getting off the gas. I have tried lots of different oils in different engines racing quads dirt bikes and shifter karts and one thing rings true. If you are ganna ride hard you need to run at 32:1 and keep your engine good and rich. People may tell you that lean is fast but that simply is not true. Plus spark plugs are cheap compared to top ends. Go get yourself a box of spark plugs and be prouder of the races you will win and not the fact that you have never fould a plug.

AMSOIL DOMIATER is the best premix I've used. try it once, check your plug and you probably wont go back. Yamalube 2R is $8.99 a qt. Amsoil is like $8.75, not much difference in price but your piston will thank you

Count me as a 2nd with Castor 927. I run it at 32:1 as well. I have run Castor 927 in my 2 strokes for over 10 years.....I never foul plugs, I never need early rebuilds, and I never gum up my exhaust (even power valves on my dirt bikes). The oil works great and the smell is irresistible!

Maxima 927 at 32:1 with pump 93. The quality of the gas may change from time-to-time, but never my oil. I won't run anything but Maxima. Period.

BTW, here's a nice chart that I made a while back. It doesn't matter what kind of oil you use, it can still be useful to you. Sorry about the quality. It was compressed when I hosted it.

amsoil dominator at 50:1 and vp c12

32:1 has less fuel per square inch then 50:1. 32:1 requires a larger jet then 50:1. this makes you run your gas tank down faster then 50:1. running a motor at 50:1 requires a quality oil and amsoil is the best.

if you switch from 50:1 to 32:1 you wil lean the motor out due to less fuel and thus need to run a larger main.

if you switch from 32:1 to 50:1 you will richen the fuel in the motor due to more fuel per square inch and thus need to run a smaller jet.

regardless of the oil ratio, the motor KNOWS AND WANTS a certain amount of fuel to run right. more oil in the gas means less MPG per tank less oil means more MPG per tank.WHY? because more oil in your gas tank gives you less fuel to burn. If you want to know the exact amount of fuel take a ratio mixer and fill 5 gallons at 32:1 and 5 gallons of 50:1 subtract the difference and that shows how much more gas you would have at 50:1 or how much less at 32:1

There is a lot of stuff suggested on here, and I'm not here to argue with it(much), but I have smoked my fair shair of pistons and rebuild LOTS of bikes. You WILL NOT foul a plug on a properly tuned bike running as rich as 24:1. Do not ever run that rich(lean as the motor sees it) of a ratio. It will only hurt performance and gum up exhaust. The best stuff you can buy at most bike shops is 927. Run it at 40:1 as it is completely unneccessary to run any more. When you decide you want your bores to last longer than bottom ends, switch to Amsoil. If you do, run it as the distributor says. Saber 100:1 is very fine. Dominator is my choice at 50:1. Call 800-777-7094 to order, or look in the phone book for local dealers. Do not be fooled by the condition of your piston when you do regular maintenence. It will show little or no wear when clearanced and warmed up right. Aluminum still has a duty cycle that can easily be exceeded no matter what oil you use or condition the piston is in. If you cannot find Amsoil, My next reccomendation is Royal Purple. That is an excellent smokeless oil ran in spec fuel at many of our local indoor tracks and I have not seen one failure due to oil. We race Outlaw Kage Karts and are aggressive duners and I can guarantee that nobody is harder on motors than we are.
