how do you readjust valves and how would i put in a dyno jet kit on my 300ex

youll have to put the engine at TDC (top dead center) and pull your valve covers off (look like bolts that have caps on them), find how many thousandths the gap is supposed to be inbetween them and use a feeler gauge. tighten down the nuts on the rocker arms so they are just snug on the feeler gauges. Thats just a brief go thru on how to do it, but its best to get a service manual if your going to do any engine work, it will explain a lot more and show the torque specs for everything.

oh yeah about the jet, on the bottom of your carb there is a 17mm cap remove that. under neath it is your main jet, it should take a 6mm socket to remove the stock jet. then put the dyno jet in and put the 17mm cap back on.
