helmet surprises?

i was just out riding and when i put my helmet on i thought that it was matting my hair down weird. so i take it off, run my fingers through my hair, and when my helmet is at eye level while putting it on, i find myself face to face with a PRAYING MANTIS. it scared the **** outa me lol i hate bugs like no other, and to know that that huge thing (5-7" long) was on my hair really freaked me out lol

so what have you guys found in your helmet by surprise?

one time there was a cricket in my helmet, i've also had spiders in there etc.

not in my helmet, but there was a bird like btwn my visor and helmet once haha

i keep my helmet in my room so, ive never had anything in my helmet. I keep it in my room for this reason tho lol

Well its wasn't in my helmet but I woke up once and there was a bat lying 2 inches away from my face on the other side of my pillow.

While we were riding at my friends track his dad got a bee inside his helmet, I don't think I've ever seen someone take there helmet off so fast before.

this unlucky sob helmet had a spider in it and I chucked it, it flew across the trail and slid across a rock lmao, the atvriders.com stickers cover up the scuff marks :blah:

You do realize that even one hard hit on a helmet renders it almost useless?

I put my helmet on the haybales at my parents farm and forgot about it, went back the next day to ride, put my helmet on an off i went. came back about an hour later, during my ride i noticed my head was real itchy. When i took my helmet off i scatched my head and under my fingernails was hundreds of little black bugs.
I dropped my helmet and ran to the pool and almost drown myself trying to get them off.
when finished, i looked in my helmet and there were thousands of them in there. YUCK YUCK YUCK.
I ripped it apart after that..
So for all you farm guys NEVER put your helmet on fresh haybales.

now i gotta go wash my hair, i can still feel them.

I've been flying down the road and have had these beetles and such fly in my helmet and hit me in the face .... it really hurts .... Other than that i found a spider in my helmet...

I hate bugs , so before I put my helmet on , I do a good inspection to see if there's anything in it . LOL . Only thing I've ever gotten inside my helmet would be flies while riding . Get's pretty annoying when you're flying down a trail , the flie gets into your helmet and you hear him buzzing in your ear . :grr:

I took a fly up the nostril once on a street bike about 70MPH. Went WAY up there. I about wrecked trying to blow it back out.
