electrical problems?

ok, i have an '86 250R and i can ride all day w/o a problem. as soon as i get the bike wet, it gets hard to start and when it does start, you can hold it wide open and it boggs down like its too rich. when you let it dry out for a couple of hours, it starts right up and runs fine. im not sure if its my CDI box or what.

That will defiently be a short somewhere,once it gets wet it makes the wires all funky and sometimes hard to start,i would check over all the wires and see if you can locate it

It may not necessarily be electrical. Any chance that you're getting water in the carb? Or possibly into the crankcase?
