thoughts on FMF pipe

Theres a big difference between a MegaMax and a Factory 4.1 Carbon:ermm:

The hmf isnt that loud with the quiet core unless you get on it. FmF's are in general pretty loud except the Q and Q2. The white brothers is not loud if you have the Q core and in the quietest form with the disks. I'm not sure if you want to be loud or quiet, but if you want loud get a cobra, last I checked the slip ons are like what,,,$90?:muscle:

I have an fmf t4 and i like it, it's pretty loud, louder then my friends wb, and every time we race i smoke him, and his wb is a full system.

i had a 14" titanium four but i smashed it on accident, loved it great sound w/ nice power if your thinkin about gettin a factory four or a titanium 4 pm me and ill sell you my old mid pipe for cheap. :)

i would get a sparks too........if i had $500 to spend on exhaust.
if you want an fmf id get the titanium 4, they make 3 different sizes from 14" (loud) to 17" ama legal.

I had a FMF powercore IV...didn't like it. Had a White Brothers E-series, hated it. Had a HMF slip-on....it was awsome, sold it to a friend when I purchased a TC shorty silencer. The HMF was awsome, and so is the TC. Main reason I went to the TC was because I raced MX and was tired of smashing up silencers. I would say your best bet is HMF;)

about the white brothers pipes......this week i installed the E-series pipe, it came stock with 6 discs on........it was a big step up from the stock pipe. I added 6 more discs for a total of 12 and it's pretty loud. i almost thought about taking a few discs off. Just some info for you guys

IMO, yes they are...here is mine after 1 summer of trail riding...and being welded for the 2nd time. I circled in red where it had to be welded. I sold it to a friend of mine...and cracked again. This time when he TRIED pulling it off to weld it again....the pipe came right out of the silencer. It went straight into the trash can....:p

And for everyones info, it was the newer modle e-series with the "extra" support brakets...yeah they didn't do jack ****.
