port and polish

first off i know im pretty well..... not up to date on engin work and i want to know what a port and polish does? second is it worth it to have it done??

a port and polish- Where you polish the intake and exhaust ports and alter them makeing them much more efficient, bigger, and makeing them flow much better giving you quite a bit more power. If you not going big bore, just polish it. If you are going big bore, then do both. It cost probably AROUND $90-150 to get it polished from a good shop, and 250-450 to get both depending on the shop. lnk if ya got anymore questions
