From what local dealer told me.. the quad will be released at dealer show in October but will not be in the dealership avalible to buy until Jan.

Pretty nice and It looks very very legitimate. Same layout as most of the other Suzuki pics and pamphlets Also matches a lot of what my industry spies have told me. I have afeeling someones gonna get fired though if this snuck out already! Of course this may be some part of the Suzuki plan . If this is it I was already planning on getting one and this just solidified that !!!

I meant without the headlight.
Looks like it might have remote rezzies in front also.

that has got to be one of the ugliest quads i have ever seen. they really ripped off the 450r look without the headlight and they ripped off the yammi 450 with the headlight. and the heal guards *shakes head*

When you zoom in on the picture , you can see that the canisters on the shocks are attatched to the shock ( piggyback style) but are layed out flat instead of the conventional style like those on the YFZ and TRX . Also it appears that the rear rotor is drilled . Center exiting exhaust . Aluminum subframe . Graphics that have number plate styling on the front and rear fenders .

Looks kinda sick with the headlight n heelguards removed.. still woudlnt buy one

Here is a pic of the blue and white version. I think it looks a lot better that the yellow version. The styling looks like a YFZ but with a 450R headlight

looks like stock 18's on back and 20's up front. looks like a type long travel set up but i could be wrong, long steering stem, and wide as chit. I wonder if the seat will get hot due to the exhaust?

That is Def the most ugly quad I have ever seen!!! And I thought the Honda was ugly stock wow... The YFZ 450 is still the best looking quad!!!

At first glance it looks similiar to a Honda linkage but once you look closer it's more like and ARS-FX set up where the shock pivots on the same bolt attaching the linkage.

Does anybody know if it is really fuel injected! I think the honda looks alot better. It looks like they stole some of the styling off the yfz!

Oh hell there is only so much you can do with plastics for crying out loud! I mean the zuk plastics already were styled sharp and angled, then the YFZ. Honda has managed to keep a somewhat rounded flowing style which also is nice but they are still induvially different.
The main thing is how "you" the buyer likes it and fits your needs. If it rides better great but I am sure it will not be any worse.
It is heavily rumored to be injected but things change.

The only thing I don't like is the t-seat and heel guards are too large. I'm sure that's to keep from catching your boots on the fenders when racing like the yfz and 450r. Not bad...

It does, it isn't a rmz450 engine either.

It is efi. The engine is new. They used some of the things they learned on the mx engine to make a better QUAD engine. You can race it out of the box. 50" wide with holeshot tires and GREAT HP.:macho

You got that right . With the heal guards removed , it looks like it'll have rear fenders that are perfect for racing .

looking at that motor shockingly reminds me of the pred motor. Im sticking with the honda, just started tearing the top end down for 13:1 and stage 2 hotcam.

with the light and gaurds removed it looks alot better. I fit beats the yami and honda, i will be alot less concerned with the looks

no, its not true, he only has one post, look at him...

the new suz is gonna have specially designed tires for it, not holeshots, and the ecu will not be user tunable, already said by suzuki, you will need to buy a tuner

I'm not trying to argue but what does it matter how many post I have. I was just passing along information that was posted on z400central. I thought you guys might like to read it.

If you only believe people that have more than one post go look for yourself, the guy who originally posted the information is very respected on the site and supposedly was dead right on the 04 YFZ announcement.

Since you don't believe the info I posted where is your accurate information on the R450

I guess we'll see if it's correct next week after the dealer show.

The stem is there, the place it mounts is higher up like on the YFZ. It's not placed in the lower frame rails like the Z
