5 valve?

me and my bro just went and looked at the 06 special edition yfz450, and right on the rear fender it said "titanium 5 valve" i thought the yfz's were 4? how does a 5 valver work, like 3 for intake and 2 for exh? please explain.

yeah thats it....3 and 2 ...and they where always 5 valves I think

isnt the 400ex 2 intake, 2 exhaust?

yeah...only the YFZ and the raptors ( except the 06 ) have 5 valves

look at my avatar <---- its 3 intake two exhaust, all the yfz's have then and previous years of raptors, and yeah the 400ex has 4
