how does everyone break there riding boots in? i just got a new pair with a race this weekend and is there a qucik way to help loosin them up?

Tech 10;s require alot of breakin, gaerne SG-10's require little to none, nethier do fox forma pros's- Tech 8's require some..What kind of boots are they? Just walk around in your house with them on for a few hours, or just ride.

oil them, and beat the crap out of them... bend them, and push on them for a long *** time while watching tv or something.

Either walk around in them in your house or outside (im not kidding) or just ride and break them in the old fasioned way.

like i said ....i jus got the new boots and i am racing unadilla this weekend so the quad right now is being prepped and gone over for the race.

besides walkin in them and all that, i heard showering with them on will help...:confused:

yea i heard the old hot water trick too. but he may want them dry for unadilla.

i also had heard that trick along time ago....i wonder if it really helps? any one actually did it ?

boots should not feel like house shoes anyway, their stiff for a reason....PROTECTION. I wouldn't worry about trying to break them in.

When I first got my alpinestars I couldnt even shift with them. I had to wear them around the house for a day or two, and ride with them on a few times before I got comfortable with them. And they are only the tech 6's.

when i got my new pair of boots a few weeks ago i couldnt wati to go riding so i just took off on the 4hundy and wehn i was about 2 miles away put put pop.... ran outta gas (i had it on reserve like an idiot) so i pushed it down the gravel rode for over a mile and then walked the rest of the way to my house and walked got witha full 2 1/2 gallon gas can..............................needless to say i my boots are nice and comfy now......but that was a long and hard couple hours

yes and their like any other kind of boot stiff untill they break in then they will feel good to where u can move ur ankle to shift and everythang but right now its hard to get my toes in the right spot to shift like my old boots....
