Does anyone know where I can get a stainless swingarm guard for an 05 400ex.

Thanks!

Cool, thanks for the info. I had looked into those, but didn't know they were stainless.

Id stick with aluminum if I were you. its a lot more forgiving and will last longer. If you do a search on here youll find a few threads that will support what I just said. But its your money;)

I don't doubt you at all, you have more than likely been riding much longer than I have.

I come from a car racing world, where steel is always better than aluminum, unless you want to save weight.

I understand the aluminum being more forgiving, but how will it last longer?

Thanks in advance for the info.

You'll break the SS one when the aluminum will bend and can be beaten straight, the SS is more brittle than the aluminum.

Makes sense to me!

I like my stainless steel one if it cracks bend it back and weld it.

My steal one is in better shape than my PRM Alum skid and has taken rocks very well. If I was going to buy another skid plate it would be a stainless again. But that is my opinion.
