Problems Please Help!!!!!!!!!

i had noticed my stock pipe spittin out blue smoke and i have never messed with the jetting or nutin, it had all stock stuff in there and i had just takin it to the shop and gotten my vavles tightened cuz i thought that was the problem but its still spittin blue smoke and i looked at the spark plug and noticed there was a wrong plug in there. i got a lrd exauhst, uni filter, 165 jet, and a 42 pilot jet, and put holes wit little filters in my airbox lid and it is still spittin blue smoke and my engine gets hot reallllllll quick. i was wondering what yall suggest, only thing i can think of is piston and rings maybe?????? please give me some help

oh i know i did, im gettin a JE 10.5:1 406 now

yea i was talkin to my dad on the phone, he said you must have for it to be blowing that much smoke, that sucks u just spent that money on ur pipe, now ur motor.

couple of possiblities..

1) cooked the valve stem seals
2) worn rings

what brand / viscosity oil are you running..? lots of folks have reported the motor smoking on 10-40 dino oil, then switched to a heavier synthetic and cured it..

regular dino oil breaks down _very_ quickly in the 400's air-cooled motor...
