need some help...

ok, my computer is old and deosnt have a usb so i got an adapter that i can use to hook the camera up and send pictures and everything. I got the cd that came with the camera downloaded some Bs off there, but when i hook up the camera nothing happens. I cant get the pics from the camera to the computer. Idk what the hell im doing wrong:confused:

Well mine I have to put it in and take it out a couple tie before the program pop up.I also have 2 differen slots it will fit in,and it only works in one.Hope that helps
