I want to get a hotcam stage 1, cuz im told its the one that gives bottom end, so what else will i need to get/do/or replace while im putting it in?
change any gaskets or what? this is a drop in cam right, so i wont have to change anything else?

yep its just a drop in. you dont need to change the steel gasket. just take out the old stock cam and put in the new. follow all the instructions that hotcam provides and you will notice a nice difference.

and dont forget to take out the decompression dowel and ball, it will tell you how to do this with the instructions.

put a piston in it and get a better cam. I don't think your gonna be all that impressed with the upgrade of just the stage 1 cam..:cool:

i want to put a je 10.8:1 in with it, but i dont know how or what alls involved

I installed a stage 2 hotcam, wiseco 10:1, and velocity intake this summer. I already had a white brothers slip on pipe.

I put it on the dyno at little sahara in july and it made 34.8 hp. Huge difference in power. I also installed a 16 tooth counter sprocket when I done these mods. Its still slow in the drags but damn it sure is fast in the trails. It still has good bottom end but has twice as much topend now.
