stroker

im gonna be rebuilding my 440 here pretty soon. was thinking of just a basic bump the compression up and throw a stage 2 hotcam in it. then i got to thinking of making it a stroker. what all different ways to make a stroker and if i were to bump the compression up to say 12:1 or even 13:1 would i just get stronger head studs and stronger rod. thanks

I have a 452 stroker 416 bore and a 7mm stroker crank and 12:1 compression, i'm running a aftermarket rod but i'm still running the stock head studs i haven't had any issues whatsoever with them pulling out, i deffinantly wouldn't skimp on the rod though and if you do pull a stud what's the most that's goin to happen beside blowing a head gasket and then you can go to oversized studs
