That is right -- once again, another dusty race. The season is about over and many riders have FOR SALE signs all throughout the pits. One was Mike Houston. Not long after this pretty beast was put on the market, it was quickly taken by an eager buyer. Watch for this quad next year - it might win a Championship!

Another quad up for sale is (GUMP) Alan Copeland's sweet Honda. Anyone interested PM him. This thing has some power (unfortunately Gump doesn't use it all).

Waiting for the Pro's to start lining up, Bryan Cook, Santo DeRisi and Robby East sit around and shoot the crap.

Lined up all the way on the inside is Santo DeRisi and Mike Houston.

In the middle is Bryan Cook and Robby East.

On the outside was Gary Bryson and Jason LaRusso.

When the green flag went up. Bryan Cook made it to turn one first, but rounding into turn two, Jason LaRusso had the inside line and he dove first into the turn with Cook dropping to second and Mike Houston third.
Santo was last off the line, kicking his quad several times before it started.
Bryan Cook took over the lead when Jason LaRusso went the long way around a drop turn.

In the A Class, Will Cashion took his Honda out front and never looked back.

On the third row was the Senior Class. Here Jake Payne is ready for battle. As Gump says, one day he will get old (hopefully not fatter though - right?)

Senior holeshot went to Payne with Jeff Hunter and Jeff Robinson rounding out the top three.

On the fourth row was the Vet Class. Tight points race between Jason Walker and Eddy Siegers (good thing these guys are friends off the track!).

At the three mile marker on lap one, there was a new leader out front. Mike Houston took over the lead when passing Bryan Cook going up a shorter line up a hill. Here, Houston kicks up the dust!

Second place was Bryan Cook, about ten seconds back. In third was Jason LaRusso about thirty seconds back from Cook.

Fourth was Santo DeRisi twenty seconds back from LaRusso, after working his way through the pack.

Fifth was Gary Bryson about thirty seconds behind Santo.

On the motocross track, less than a mile from the end of lap one, Mike Houston was still outfront.

Second in the Senior Class was Jeff Robinson, putting in his best ride of the season. He was about twenty seconds behind Payne.

In the Vet Class, Eddy Siegers was in second on lap three, but ended up getting around Corey Mitchell before the finish and took the Vet Class win.

Jason Walker was having a great day, here in fourth, but by the checkered flag, he almost had Siegers reeled in, but settled for second (this time Eddy he will settle for 2nd!!!)

The two lap card went out to Houston with a nice lead.

Jason LaRusso and Santo DeRisi came in for second, with only a few seconds separating them. The battle was getting tight between the two. They were still about a minute and a half behind Houston.

Bryan Cook came in for fourth, but was riding easy. He pulled off the track to say he was quitting due to a sore back. He didn't want to injury it any further.

I was half asleep when I posted these pics.......thanks for the correction.....I have many more to post but I have been extremely busy!! Yeah, I wish they would either fix the track or do away with it! I'm just chicken and I do not like those downhills.....give me an uphill anytime! O'well...... take the good with the bad. Well guys and gals this is all I have! Sorry, about the quality but cropping and resizing really takes away from the pic. If anyone sees their pic on here and wants a copy get with me at the next race! I drive a silver 4Runner with a big Fox head in the back window. I think a digital camera will be one of my next purchases! This developing film can be a really kick in the wallet but it was well worth it!! I'm hoping that my school schedule will allow me to race at Parker Valley!

Have ya ever been shot at while riding?:eek2: Well there is a first time for everything!! We went out for a short ride today and we ended up on top of a hill. Of course, the 400 doesn't have reverse! While we were trying to turn the 400 around a big pitbull comes up over the hill. Needless to say he looked a little hungry and we looked like a perfect snack off of the food chain. Finally we got out of that ordeal and as we were riding out of the woods there were shots being fired :huh . I think I may take my gun next time and shoot with them:D
