Where is the best place to get one? I saw some prices and almost passed out!

watch ebay, there's a few on there every now and then.

i think herrmann or someone makes a chromoly one for about $300

I'm not positive but I think the Herrmann subframe is $399, not a bad price compared to other chromoly ones on the market.

Not bad............My 400ex main frame was nearly the same price brand new! Subframes are supposed to be for the purpose of allowing a low cost alternative so the whole frame don't need replaced after a nasty crash..........Now subs cost what frames do!


Sorry to vent, I know everyone is trying to help.:o

check out k andk atv, theve got gibson subframes in 4 point(stock) or 6 point with weld on tabs
4 point is like 399 and 6 is 449 i beleive

Yes it sure does..........You feel bad enough when you do it to your own, but to do it to a friend's quad really bites!:(

you are correct Herrmann has these and I ordered one after breaking my stock one in half, it looks awesome and is super strong looking!

Not necessarily. It's also so they can replace steel with aluminum.
