just curious who everybody has, what it covers and who offers it. i figure if i do keep my quad i want insurance just incase i drive off a cliff or something. so who do you all think is the best?

I have full coverage on mine. I pay 120.00 a year with American Family

thats what im trying to figure out....wiht progressive they let you type in an amount that you would liketo cover for extras....but 900 a year is kinda steep.....and american fam sounds great but they dont cover pennsylvania :(

progressives sucks. I had them and for liabilty it was like 500 a year. Now I have state farm and its 115 for full coverage for a year with 25k/50k coverage and you can tell the agent the mods and it will raise the cost of insurance but not much.:D

Yeah dont go with progressive. I did the same thing and they ripped me off bigtime! Check around, you'll find one.

State farm all the way. My Z got ripped off about two weeks ago and State Farm is all over it. They said I should have a check by the end of the month. Covered my nerfs, bars, kill switch, they even tacked on the black 03' seat I got off ebay cause I had proof. Definatly worth it!

so they gave you retail price of the quad? or is it like a car where they give you 2k less than it is worth

I am interested in this also. I have 3 and it would suck to have one stolen and have nothing. I am with Allstate and need to check it out.

I my quad is a $15,000 investment, but what if I have no proof of the parts I bought? Can I just get coverge up to $15,000?

I think you just have to make sure you tell them what you have invested up front so that they know.
