What are the best energy drinks that keep you energized pumped and alert for riding? I keep thinking Red Bull would be good but i've never tried it.

Post some drinks that works good to keep you riding for many hours. Also post the links on the drink so we all can find some info on them.:macho

gatorade is definately a race day and pracitce day drink. Drink something that will replace your electrolytes. For energy drinks i drink Monster and Red Bull but there are others. Most energy drinks just pump your system full of caffeine, which is not good for racing. It is not good because it will dehydrate you. So your best bet would be to drink water and gatorade as water hydrates you and gatorade helps in replacing electrolytes and other vitamins that helps your body perform. I also drink this electrolyte replacement syrup that is called squincher. I mix it with a bottle of water and it helps quite a bit i think. If i drink it thoruhg the week leading up to a race i can tell a difference in arm pump. it is considerably less. but i ride a lot to so that does some of it also.

Sparks;)

had about 6 of those to start the night last night...they give you plenty of energy to stay awake so you can drink even more. A little to sugary for me though.

But my favorite energy drink that is legal for you to buy is Amp by mountain dew or Red Bull. They taste good, give you energy, and make one hell of a mixed drink.

What does monster taste like not mixed with Red bull?
My friend said that Redbull tastes like a supercharged sprite or something like that.

try this for energy. energy drinks are a gimmick, they actually reduce your performance. propel is a good drink
