hey im looking to buy a 50 but i want to know if it would be too small for me im 5-11 160 pounds

is a crf going to be too small

With stock handle bars, yes. You are going to have some problems with them hitting your knees lol. You will need some aftermarket parts, but once you have them the thing owns.

I used to have a 50 and I am about the same height/weight you are. I loved it.

you will haf to get springs,bar kit,88cc bore kit,frame,swing arm, i shock, skid plate,bushings, etc. i've got over7 grand into myne

u just need bars, but dont get a 50 there a thing of the past, either build up a crf 70, get a klx or drz 110, 50s are money pits, you end up building them into what a klx or drz is out of the box, i just got a 70...i love it, coming from a 50 its so much better

yeah that lasts for the first month then u start doing other stuff, some tracks aroudn here even have adult pitbike classes,me and my freinds ride them pretty hard

imo if you are that big you should get a ttr125, then you dont have to mod the bars or the engine.... but you would later any way, oh they also have a 5 manuel speed tranny, id choose a ttr125 over an xr50

thats stupid

you obviously have never rode any minis a 88 or 108 stroker feel like your riding a 450 its just fun, if your gonan buy a ttr 125 you might as well get a 250f

i think a 88 or 108 will eat it alive on a track
