400ex cam

would putting maybe a stage one cam on my 400ex be any good with the mods that i do have

hmf slip-on
k&n air filter
ehs lid cover
dyno jet kit

my gears are now a little lower than stock gearing
i didnt have much time to do a search so i allready know how annoying it is to have one thing posted a million times:devil:

i have similar mods, and im going to order a stage 1 hotcam soon.

i hear it will give a noticable increase in power

yes it will help out some, but if you dropped a higher comp piston in there the difference would be much more noticeable.

also does any 1 know of a post were the steps and tips are to putting a cam in the 400ex

i want to put a 10.8:1 piston in also, but im not sure what i will need to get, replace, or do, to put it in and im kinda scared to do it honestly. Im pretty sure i know what to do on the cam, but i cant find any info on how to install a piston
