I agree that the dr.D is a good pipe, however if you can afford to spend a little more cash then I reccomend you check out C.T. racing. They sell a full system w/filter and jet kit. very good quality and power.

I have heard that the Nmotion produces the same amount of low end as a TC pipe, but gives more mid-top end then the TC

But i would go with TC,nmotion, sparks, hmf

I have HMF on both my YFZ's and love 'em.. I have rode YFZ's with all sorts of exhaust, and HMF is my favorite!

Yeah I liked my CT but it broke and hit the caliper, the new ones the have now have a better mounting bracket design but it still hits the caliper, I got one of the Tri-Oval Yoshis and it's just as good and looks cooler and clears the caliper so I'm happy with it

HMF hands down. Nothing produces the power that HMF does. If you are woriied about noise, try there QRS series. I have a QRS and a Ballance pipe and love them both. I give credit to HMF for several holeshots i the GNCC series this year for me. By the way, I now only have one machine, so I am setting on an extra pipe. The QRS full system is for sale if anyone is interested.

Timmy, Joel Pope's buddie from the speed shop. I just bought the 06 and Hmf should be here today. Just looking for a good base line. I have a 42,45,48 pilot and 170,175,180 main to choose from. Motor is bone stock. Have uni filter with no lid. And mine is the sport series pipe, slipon. And I run VP ms103

with those jets I would use the 170, 48, and turn the air screw out 3 turns

There is no reason to be 3 turns out on the air/fuel mixture. You need to go up one on your pilot if your out that far.

I agree, but he said that all he had was a 48. At least by going the extra turns out it will get him closer with what he has to work with.

Well I got It on and At present time jetting as follows 180 main 45 pilot . Has a small flat spot off idle, from Fuel screw I would guess. I purchased a Zip-Ty And Should get it friday.Past 1/8 It pulls like crazy all the way. 170 was a bit lean. 175 was pretty good. 48 was a bit fat.

Just so you know, the fuel screw for the 06 is different. So unless you bought one specifically for an 06 it will not work. I am glad to hear you have it running good. I am very surprised that you were able to make it run smooth with the 45 pilot. I had to go very rich on the bottom to get rid of the fall on its face / engine stalling hesitation on the bottom when rolling on the throttle hard.

I sent you a pm with my number. I do still have Hesitation if I pound the throttle under load at low rpm. If i keep the revs up just a tad it pulls no problem. I may have you stop out and help me dial it in.:D
