Ok I have a mx race this weekend...but it's supposed to race really bad...so the race will be a mud fest...last time this happened every body was getting stuck in the mud with 18's.
so I have a choice...I have some brand new 18 inch razr mx....or 22 inch bear claws..there not new but still have a good tread on them...I figure that the higher ground clearence and the bigger tread would be better for the mud mx race....what do you think?
razr mx...or bearclaws???
thanks

if you had 20's bearclaws id say that would be a better choice...but personnally id go with the 18's they will perform better everywhere bud that mud spot...unless ther mud bog is the track i guess the 22's will be better

well see the last race that was like this ( rain ) was a real mud bug...ppl where getting stuck everywhere on the track....with 18's...that is why I am wandering about the 22's....I know the razr's would be way better for normal MX..but this won't be a normal MX

I dont know thats a tough call, I've tried the bigger tires for the muddy races before and it really didn't seem to help much. The only way I would run those is if the mud is going to make it where you "high center" If your swinger and skids and everything are not getting hung up, then go for the small tires with the new tread.
It doesn't matter what you do Conrad .. Nazi racing will own you.

Just take both sets to the track with you. Watch during practice and if people are having problems and the track isnt improving then run the 22's, if not use the 18's
