XR500 motorswap?

i am planning on getting an XR500 motor and all the components to make it run, and am gonna ATTEMPT a conversion to a 400ex frame, if anybody has any suggestions, tips or has done it or seen it done and can get me some pics, it would be greatly appriciated, any advie would also be helpful, thanx

i put an xr650r in a 400ex and it is awsome and it really wasnt all that much work and it beats my piped and cam modded yfz by three lengths in a drag race

hey mikesutphin were you the guy who made that xr650 custom a while back, that you made a thread about it? i was lookin for that thread a couple of days ago but couldnt find it. i am thinking about putting a xr650 motor in my 400, could you give me some more detail on how much custom work is required? and how well everything fits
