Stage 1: Mild cam

Stage 2: Little Wilder, rougher idle, more top end or mid range, etc.

Call the manufacturer of the cam you are looking to buy, they will be able to best tell you which version you should run.

Remember, each cam design will work best with a certain combination of parts, some cams may not be suitable for trail riding and may increase the maintence demands of your machine.

Hope this helps a little.

im guessing your talking about the hot cam stage 1 and 2. the stage 1 has way to much lowend, that it wouldnt be even worth getting. the stage 2 has the same low end as stock, with increased top end.

This or the CRF, the crf is a little more bottom than the S2 and a little less top.
