I wonder how many of those, if any, were Photoshopped. I remember the one picture of a supposed oncoming hurricane taken from a tanker in the ocean that was later proved to be fake. Cool pics though either way.

Those are not from Katrina, they were taken in western Australia I believe. They are atleast a few years old. They were posted on an FMX forum a while back.

those do not look to be like from a hurricane but rather a super cell thunderstorm that clearly went on to produce a tornado.

A hurricane doesnt just all of a sudden just appear as a big wall of death like those Thunderstorm Cell or Tornado pics that were posted look like. A hurricane is a slowly moving storm that conditions progressively get worse and last a long period of high sustained bad weather.
PS not trying to discredit anyone because the pictures posted were truly great indeed, just sharing the fact that you can never capture in a photograph the force of a hurricane unlike a tonado pic or similar
Proves one thing.... Ole mother nature can be a mother when she wants to.
Stop naming these hurricanes after women. Name them somthinh like Bob or Monkeyboy

They are not fake, and its not pictures of a Hurricane, those are simply SuperCells that produce tornadoes..
A hurricane is much to large to take a picture of from that sort of angle.
