Harescramble Mount Pleasant IOWA (SE corner) 9/17/05

$5/ head at the gate
$25/ entry- signup starts at 8am

NO ATVA license required. (only requirement is that you wear boots)
8 mile course mostly timber but a little CRP land.

Quads A, B, C, Utility scheduled to race for an hour at 10am. I think I talked the promotor into asking by a show of hands who wants to race 2 hours at the rider's meeting before the race.

Bikes A & B scheduled for 2 hours at noon(?).

I would come up if I was guaranteed a 1.5 or 2 hour race. To long of drive for 1 hour of riding.

No series; it's just a race. Hence the lack of AMA or ATVA sanctions.

Trophies only. A & B top 5, C top 3. IDK what he said about the Utes and bikes. He must be doing OK on number of racers - (this is the third year he's had the race) and he told me he decided at the last minute to add the C class.

i wont know if i can til the week before~ i cant miss work and workin 3rd my week starts sundays~ i backed out of the 12 hour on glan and lindley~ so if you know a 30+ rider hookem up i feel horrible ~ but missing work w/out pay for 5 weeks set me back a bit~lol~ racing has been put on hold til next year~ it sux!

Yea I was do that one 'also' or 'instead of' the Mt P race, but the economics of the deal is that Mount Pleasant is only $5-7 gas in the truck at the current rate! ;)
