for both, i have a 03 400ex , i heard that a 4+1 for the front makes it a inch wider dont know about the rear though

4+1 will make it narrower and handle better. 2+3 is the widest offset for front but will make it handle bad.
3+6 is the widest offset for the rear but can bend your axle easier.

thats if u ride hard isnt it, i kind of go easy on my stuff because i dont like it when stuff breaks. aint honda's stock offset 2+3 in the front or is it my imagination, so with a front end kit that has +2 a arms where would i stand on terms of with or with +3 arms.

Reguardless of how you ride it still won't handle as well as stock. Stock front wheels are more like 3+2.
+2 arms and stock wheels will put you at about 48" and +3's will be near 50".

If your looking at arms.. go with +3 arms and get a 4+1 offset wheel. should be ~48" wide and will handle better than the 3+2. Puts the center of the wheel closer to the spindle pivot point.

Get a 2+2 axle with standard offset rear wheels.

thats what i plan on getting is +3 a arms and a 2+2 axle do u think durablue is good or gforce i want something that u can get hubs with

I would go with RPM or LSR, you can get hubs with both of them.

Yes you can run the stock hubs on both axles, the splines will match right up.

You cant run stock hubs on an X-33 axle! But thats a durablue so dont fret. Either an LSR or RPM axle! RAD also sells axles with hubs, but I dont think you can run stock hubs on those either.

As long as its a 10" rim it will. It has nothing todo with the offset.

I have the 3 to 2's on my banshee. Made the front end wider. I didnt notice much a handling differnt in it being worse.

They do have a dip dish look to them though :p

What about the rear off set? I know my buddy bought some baja for the rear, and they were wider, then he bought some hypers that were either the same as stock or just a little narrower, I need to know as i am planning on getting some for my rears. As for the front, go 4-1, i had 3-2, and it didn't handle as well as the 4-1 do. Wish I knew that befor I bought them, but live and learn.

when u go on the rocky mountain site, on the tires and wheel combo kit section, for the 400ex the front only gives u a 3+2 offset so what do u,call them and say i want a 2+3 offset or what.
and another question do u really need the pj1 sealent or not does that do anything.

They may not show the combo, but then will make it for you. just call and ask for what you want, i did it about 2 months ago.

i think im just gonna buy the front 22-7-10 hd's with the 3+2 offset and the rear 20-11-9 hd's with the 3+6 offset. I dont really ride that hard anyway.

I just bought some ITP's for the rear, I got the 9x9. They are 3 to the inside and 6 to the outside, did I make a mistake? Is this going to bend my axle if I ride to hard? This is on a 400ex
