foot pegs

Hey guys,

It was pretty late when I was looking at my 400 last night and I looked over at my brothers 450R, has anyone tried mounting the 450R pegs up to their 400? Just curious, the 450r pegs are wider and longer than the 400. Thanks. D

I have 450r pegs. They work awesome and bolt right up.

do you know if nerfs will work with them, I have ac standard nerfs.

I have never tried it but I don't know why nerfs would not work. It has the same holes at the same place as the stock ones

The only nerfs that work are ones that use U-bolts on the front of the frame like DG kromelites, however ones like AC's with the welded on front mount will not line up with the motor mounts.

man, thats beat:( . i was just thinking about putting on some 450r pegs and hoping they would work with my nerfs. o well guess i just need to save up for some ims pegs:D

I switched to 450R pegs and they work with my AC nerf bars. Of course the holes aren't going to line up like they did before, so all I did was drill some new holes and they bolted right up. I don't understand how they aren't working for other people; I made them fit the first try :confused:

well thats even better news! i guess i jsut have to go out and get a pair. do you know if they will work with the 400ex heelguards?

I can't answer that question because i'm not running heel guards anymore. I do remember a member who did this mod to his 400 and was able to get the heel guards to fit with some cutting and trimming.

just buy the ac pro-pegs

i wouldnt get ac pro pegs. when the peg wears out your stuck with it. if you get a pro peg get x-factor monster peg. they have a much bigger peg, and when it wears down you can change it.
