thanks for the info, I'm not sure what class I should race though, I race A in the WORCS but I don't have much motocross experience or anything the only moto experience I have had have been the 5 WORCS races so far 2 of which had a very small mx track so I don't know...

i race 2 - 4 stroke novice and us top guys shouldnt be in that class the only reason i havnt moved up is because i dont get any practice time in and i have a stoke motor

o ok I'd probably go Novice I guess since I don't get much practice or even have motocross tires, I race Pro Am in WORCS and I'm not afraid to jump, but motocross is totally different in the way you race because you have to charge all out frm the start, the WORCS races are 90 minutes for the Pro race and you have time to catch up if you have a bad lap or something but not in moto, so I gues I'll go either beginner or Novice

If you race Pro Am in WORCS you should NOT be racing any beginner classes!!! I'd say you'd be fine in the Int classes.....that's what I'm running next season. And I will be racing the A classes in the next WORCS race.......you don't want to be a sandbagger!

yeah true, it's just that the way you race in motocross is different and also I don't have much MX experience or anything, but what you say makes sense so Iguess I'll go Int

It will be alot like the WORCS stuff, since alot of the WORCS courses have MX in them. SW is not real technical......so you will have a good time and do really well there if it's your first pure MX race. Just treat it like a short WORCS race! LOL!! :) If you like to jump, you can hammer the throttle down for 4 laps and do good on your holeshots, you will do really well! :)

I race men's Int locally, and Women's A for the ITP races...I will be racing 30+A next season for the ITP's.......or one of the A classes anyway. Yeah....I did OK at Taft......I'm a little faster with suspension now....... ;)

4 laps at Speedworld will be a cakewalk.......sort of like racing the backtrack at Glen Helen. Fun track......not near as long and rough as Glen Helen's main track when we run the whole thing!! :)

I can't believe they ran you guys for 6 laps? I didn't even notice!

what track of speedworld are we racing? just the main one? In January for WORCS they linked like all of them together and it took like 10-12 minutes to do a lap, so you think I should go intermediate? we are probably around the same speed so I don't know

its was brutal i ran out of tear off so i ripped off my google and i was waiting for the white flag. it took so much longer then normal. i liked they way the had the track set up too. usally they have the back section open and its pointless becuase there is no lips on the jumps back there.

well i will be out at speedworld thursday and friday

I LOVED the last Glen Helen track setup - it was perfect - not too long, not too short......I hope they leave it like that for the last round!!

They will be running the main track for the race at SW......they will have the lights set up for pretty much the whole day track.......they might take out one little section for the night race.......it's a fun layout right now, too. It will have some big step-ups, step-downs, tables, whoops, doubles and a peaky little rythm section that I don't do.......lol! Get ready for some hardpack, high speed racing........!!!

If I were to run 30+A right now, I'd probably do pretty good. The regular Prod A class I would have a harder time placing well, I'm sure........I'd say go either Novice or Interm....whatever you feel the most comfortable running......there are actually quite a few different classes to choose from.......

cool thanks for all the info, If I was 30 I'd probably do good in the 30 plus A since Leonard Duncan is usually the fast one in that class and I usually beat him when he runs Open A, we have some good battles though he doesn't like to let ANYONE pass him, haha, yeah I agree I'd also have a hard time placing well in the Prod A class cause there are some faster riders in it. But yeah sounds good I just remeber in WORCS I think they race us backwards through the Vet track at SW and we were launching off all of hills that were supposed to be jumps for the Vet track.
