I want a sparks big core for my 450, but im afraid it will be to loud. Is it to loud to run in the woods, and is higher than the decibel level that lets you ride. If it is way to loud what kind of exhaust would you prefer!!

Thanks

Personally, I feel that the sparks pipes are extremely loud. They look good and might be fine for closed course events, but with all the problems associated with loud pipes, the media and land closures I would have to strongly advise against any pipe that sounds as obnoxious as the sparks.

I heard one of these pipes on a 450r while riding at the Badlands off-road park; it was by far the loudest machine out there that day. I just felt that it sounded ridiculously loud.

Just my responsible opinion!

;)

Loudest of all the pipes I have heard on a 450R! So Far!

Definatly Not nieghbor friendly!!!

thanks i, just not sure what pipe to go with, I can't decide between white bros., yoshimura, lrd, or esr, or any other pipe.

White Brothers, HMF, Two Brothers are good ones. Check around, many companies are making quiet pipes or at least have the option to add it on to a race pipe.

Dirtwheels magazine is a good place to look.

The Sparks BC is around 112 db..id go with one of the ESR pipes if noise is a concern..Id never trade my Sparks BC though.

Sparks is definitley the LOUDEST exhaust ive heard on a 450r. But ive heard a TC pipe on a yfz and it was just as loud.

I'd go with an LRD...they sound great and they aren't too loud

I think i might go with the WB carbon fiber race full system, I like the looks and i think a lot of people ride them.

I have HMF with a quiet core and compared too all my friends quads mine is quiet. Also Yosi makes a system that is available with a 93db and a 96db insert. I think I want to get one of those myself to try.

be careful with carbon fiber. i have heard of pipes busting from hard landings and going over in a wheelie. havent seen it for myself just what i heard.

do not go with the wb pro carbon! it is just as loud as the sparks, i have heard it first hand, and it shakes the earth!

if you want a good pipe thats quiet go with the yoshimura with the tec kit, both the oval and the tri offer awsome performance, ad there sounds nice, there not to loud either, and they have the carbon fiber versions too
