Well some people might know that bearings can be rather difficult to remove if you dont have a big giant press,so i have been using this method,it works extremely well, and is simple.

All you need is a nice, and a set of sockets that you dont use anymore(if you dont want to get your good ones all messed up with marks).

What you want to do is find the biggest socket that will fit just right into the bearing hole, and on the other side get a bigger socket so when you push the bearing out,the bearing goes into the bigger socket without anything being in the way.

If you need extra leverage just get a bar or anything that you can find that will turn the vice handle,This also works for pressing in bearings too, just make sure you are even when you are just about to press the bearing in

Yep, that's the way I used to do mine. Works very well. Great application for those "Made in China" socket set someone got you for Christmas. ;)

Also to remove stubborn bearings, say ones that you cant bang out,i.e,a sidecase bearing, fill the inside of it with grease, and get a socket that is exactly the same size as the inside of the bearing and bang it,the grease is suppose to act like a hydraulic press, and it seems to work often, but you have to clean up the grease afterwards, but that is another way to do it.

for the carrier bearings, just heat the carrier and the bearings will fall down by himself. That's my way to change mine
