I'd like to say that JD performance a-arms seems to be an excellent company. They are very helpful with questions and offer a superior product at an excellent price. For a +1 or +2 400ex a-arm setup the price is $475 while a +3 setup will only bring the price tag up to $525. The construction of the A-arm is first rate, and if by chance you have to replace a ball joint you only have to scrape up $15. All and all a great deal. If anyone has any experiences with these a-arms I'd like to hear them. Thanks, Sean

Houser all the way, they are by far the most widely used a-arms for the 400ex, talk to Kolby at C&D slates, he will hook you up.

One of the fabricators for laeger's for 11 years owns the company, and he is the only one to make the JD's he doesnt have any one else do it.

would they handle worse than the houser a-arms? Because I was thinking going with houser +2 a-arms but the jd performance once are cheaper. I probably won't be getting them any time soon but if they are cheaper and handle the same and seem to have the same quality then i think I might go with the jd performance.

can we adjust camber and caster on JD or houser normal a-arms??

You can adjust camber on normal houser and JD arms but not castor.. You can't go wrong with either company,,but the houser arms come with an extra cross bar which might make them a little sturdier...:D I guess I'll go ahead and post a pic of my houser +1 arms..:blah

Whe i put my JD's up to a set off Leagers there the same just a whole lot cheaper. The bar used on the Housers dont really seem to be at a major stress point since its close to the frame and any thing that hurts that area is going to do a lot of damage to the frame too. If you look at a set of JDs there is alot more surface area combining the shock mount sides on there design.

I think they stopped making the +2 +1 a-arms because it pushes to much in the corners.
