I am going to Little Sahara, OK the weekend of Oct. 14, Just wanted to see who else is planning a trip up that weekend. If so we'll have to drink a cold one:D I'll be in a 2000 white 4X4 Chevy Silverado, Reg cab, long bed with 3 250R's. Also another rig with a blaster, KDX200, and warrior. Hope to see ya down there. Hey Icecold, I sent you a PM. I am always up for a ride!! You will have a blast if it is your first time. There is going to be a group of about 5 or 6. We are staying in the cowboy campground. Hopefully the weather is perfect for some night riding.

to true. we will be camping in cowboy campground to, i ride a yellow 400ex with a blue visawhip, like they sell in the south campground, and ill be putting some red led lights in to replace the tail light, so ill be easy to spot when it is dark.

dale, looks like they moved my fall break, so i guess ill be goin with the kids maybe, my break is the 20-21, i cna still make it the 14th, but would have more time for the dunes on the 20, depends on the people from sherman if they can change there time off if i come on the 14th or not.

So chino and rockman, might be goin the 20th if yall be up for a ride just let me know

some of my group is backing out too but there will still be a couple of us for sure going early saturday morning the 15th. we are just going to stay saturday night and pack it up sunday afternoon and head home.

ok, so i got the date set, i will be there the wknd of the 14, along with some others from sherman, ill be in a blue gmc lowered with a 2000 banshee white, so who for sure is gonna be there then, let me know and well hook up and ride, ill prob head up early thurs

we will be there Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, and leaving Sunday Morning.

if you are talking about the weekend of the 21st, I am not sure, we are supposed to meet up with some guys from Paola KS. If we are in the North campground we will look you up. Maybe toss back a few cold ones. what are you going to be driving?

We will be leaving the morning of the 15th. We will be in a brown chevy 3/4 ton cab and a half. I have a yellow 400ex with shaved fenders and a Dale Jr flag. We will also have a red 400 Scrambler. I will let yall know more details when they come closer to the 15th.

i plan on heading down early after noon next wednesday the 12th and we will most likely be in cowboy by the bathhouse. i will be in a black chevy 1500 4x4 work truck with reg cab and long bed. will be towing down 3 yellow 400exs. the rest of the group will show up thursday with a lifted red jeep wrangler and a yellow z400 and a few utility quads. my ex says spud in red lettering on the front so i should be easy to spot.

Dont over do your self. If you are in real good shape you might not be too bad. Every time I go up there I come home sore as hell in the shoulders and hands from all the jumping.

the north campground is right by the big dunes while the south is by the drag strip. i dont know if the noise bothers you when you sleep but we stay in the north/cowboy campground just cause it is a little less of the party crowd and is a little more spread out so you dont hear quads in camp all night. we will be up there early Saturday morning around 8 or so. i will look for your truck and a banshee.

i prefer camping in north or cowboy. usually stay in cowboy since it takes you straight to the big hills.

i was just on waynoka.com and it is suppose to be nice weather which is good cause i dont have to buy alot of ice for the budweiser! just hope there is a good moon to do some night riding. just got to remember to get some good glow sticks.

i will be on a yellow 400ex with a Dale Jr flag. we also got a red 400 scrambler, a blue banshee with fmf pipes, and a green suzuki eiger. i drive a tan 3/4 ton cab and half chevy. swing by and drink a beer.

so how was the sand for everyone.

me and icecold_shee tore it up some during the week. had my dads 440ex dynoed and it mad 40 horse on the ground, kicked some *** with it drag racing.

i went looking through the campgrounds looking for you and icecoldshee a couple of times but yall must have been on the dunes cause i found his truck but no banshee's around.

it was a great weekend for the weather. the dunes were beat all to hell but the wind picked up this afternoon and they should get better in the middle of the week. it was pretty packed in the campgrounds and there was some good drag racing. was yall over there when the white yfz and the banshee wrecked while dragging? the banshee was fine but the yfz needs a new front end after flipping a couple of times. they were racing way too close to eachother all weekend.

my brother in law and some other dirtbike riders put on a nice show jumping a small dune saturday afternoon. today there was a group of tricked out yfz's from kansas that were launching off a dune. they were flying about 100 to 120 ft but it was cool cause they were landing on some flat ground and the quad would bottom out with a huge cloud of dust.

good overall weekend though.

djfan, were you in cowboy campground on the outside campsites. i think you were right next to us. we had a ton of quads and trailors in the three sites we had. still was an awesome time. i missed that crash at the drags. and did you se the black durango on 20" wheels a few sites down, it wnet out across the dunes friday night including going over buttercup.

i saw the durango but missed it out on the dunes.there was a 1/2 4wd ford on 22s saturday night doing the same thing. the kid was drunk as hell and had completely trashed that truck. we were the ones following him across the dunes a from the north to the south. he had no reverse and 4wd high was gone, he had it in low the whole time doing at least 50 on the flats and would stomp on it going up the dunes. after a couple of trips, it was hot as hell and sounded like crap.

we camped right next to that odd shaped white trailer. there was the guy in the white chevy with the quadzilla next to the durango that kept coming down to our fire wanting to bull s**t but he was pretty strange so we kept our eye on him.

good weekend though. we will have to do it again on halloween.

Did you see the blond in the stripper outfit at the end with the sandrails? Saturday afternoon the was struting around that camper and there had to be 50 guys down there with their tounges haning out. She was damn good looking but was a little overdressed for the dunes!!

I had a good time, but i had to leave out sat at 4, didnt get to meet dale or tom, but maybe next time.
I had a lot of fun being my first time, i missed the crash, but i member the banshee that you were talkin about, it was clean as hell and the fastest thing i saw all wknd, so did they come out alright?
oh, and spud, nice ridin with you, to bad you couldnt keep up with the shee, lol, maybe when you get some more work done, give me a holla and well drag em again

I had a blast! Ending up getting down there at 2 AM Thursday, but went for a night ride right when we got there. I camped in the South campground down at the right hand corner by the ranger station. Did you happen to see a group of 3 250R's, one all chromed out with a blue quadtech hood, a blaster, and a warrior? I defiantely had a good time and will be going down again soon.
