I was wondering what my quad is worth. Its a 2001 426ex. Just rebuilt motor with Ross 426 piston, new sleeve, hotcam stage 2, larger head studs, ported head /w valve job. ASR +2 a-arms, Elka Tripple Rate + piggy backs on front, AC bumper, AC pro peg nerfs, Burgard +1 Stem, Tag T2 Bars /w Renthal grips, RPM +1.25 Swigarm w millenium tapered bearing carrier, new sprocket, stainless brake lines all around, new pads, gusseted frame with long travel mod, long travel rear elka shock /w rezzie. All new plastics, and hardware. White brothers CDI, K&N, lonestar +2+4 axle, rear hipers, douglas fronts, Alien full exhaust. I think thats it.

To be honest, it's worth less than you might think... Most racers are switching or have switched over to 450R's, YZ450's or Z450's for racing leaving the 400ex kind of orphaned. We paid $3200 for a very tricked out 2001 400ex last year. This year I've seen them for even less.

The reason is that it can't keep up with the 50 plus HP being cranked out by most 450's.

So are you saying if I did a motor swap and made it faster than the new 450s that It would be worth alot more?

$3500-$4000 if I were you I would sell the shocks, a-arms, and some other stuff and put the stock parts back on you will def. get more money that way

you could could prob get like 2,000 for the after market axle, a-arms,and shocks
