I want a fourwheeler and I don't have very much money or any for that matter. I had a complete 300ex with a 350x motor that i am now parting out. I was thinking of either just parting out the whole thing, saving for a little bit, and buying an 87-92 lt250r or putting a trx250r motor in the 300ex. The lt250r's are relatively cheap. I know very little about them except that i don't want an 85-86 because of the motors. I plan to trail ride and do some pretty decent size jumps but no triples or anything like that. On whatever i decide i'm gonna put +2 a arms, extended axle, and works shocks. Which would be a better idea do you guys (or girls) think.

Because i like honda i say put the 250r engine in the 300ex frame. if i had the patience the time the money i would build up a 250r to like a 265 or something and widen it and all that good stuff.

I know me too. That's what i'm afraid i'll want to do once i put all this time into it, but I already have all the 300ex stuff minus the motor and whatever money i get in parts won't be enough to build a decent 250r or anything for that matter.

Honestly if you already have the honda tires and wheels your one step ahead, I would sell the 300ex frame and buy a 250R frame. Much better design for handling and the most important part, its made for the motor. You can take the project slow and buy a frame and just look for fairly cheap parts. You can build up an R for fairly cheap.

I would take an LT250 over a 300EX/250R hybrid any day. The suspension on the LT isn't the greatest, but it's far better than the 300EX.

i would go with the 300ex frame and trx 250r engine

will a 250r engine fit on a 300ex frame?

but it deffently would be a wheely machine
