Need help identifing a quad.

My uncle has a four wheeler for sale, but he does not know the model of it. He knows its a suzuki. The only other information I have are:

*6 Speed Automatic
*Extremely light in the front
*Older model quad.
*it's a 250.

any ideas?

Im hoping it might be a quadracer 250, but I doubt it.

I know it might be hard identifing with that little information, but if someone can, i'd appreciate it.

He also said its quite fast, he estimated around 60mph top speed on blacktop.

I seen it once when I was visiting him in MI.

I vaguely remember it, but I think it was white and blue.

Yeah, he said 6 speed automatic...thats what has me stumped.

only thing i can think of is a polaris trailblazer. They r light in the front, and are autos. He might have jus saw yellow on it and said suzuki:confused:

no way its an automatic 6 speed, i doubt its a semi auto 6 speed. is it a 2 stroke? ask what side the pipe comes out of

It's not a polaris, because he said it says suzuki on the side and on the back of the seat.

Sounds like an LT230 to me.

You pictured an LT500R...

If it's a Suzuki 250... and it's white... I would have to guess it's an LT250 QuadSport. They were made in 1989-90. But they are a manual 5-speed. The LT250R was a 6-speed from 87-92. Of course they are yellow plastic with blue frame stock... and I don't think they are ugly! :grr: Here's another oppurtunity to post a pic of mine... :D

do you have a picture of the LT250 Quadsport? That was my second quad growing up... no one believes me when I say its a 4 stroke 250 quadsport.... either they try to tell me I had a LT250 quadracer or a LT230 Quadsport... :grr:

MOFO is right, there was a 250 quadsport for a couple years that was a 4 stroke manuel 5 speed with reverse. They were junk in my opinion but they did exisit.

Key word is auto, so that rules out any of the sport bikes. I would have to guess a king quad. That is the only suzuki I can think of that fits the description. ???

Might be an lt-250, pray that it is, cuz those things are badddd!:macho . My buddy has one with a wheelie bar that he drag races on dirt, that thing FLIES for a little 250!

i had a lt230 quad runner thats an auto clutch but only a 5 speed with reverse its a 86 with e start a really light front end with the worst front end set up i have ever seen. the shocks are like six inches long its pathetic

Alright I got some new information and im almost 100% positive its a lt250

Pipe exits left side
2 stroke

Only thing that has me doubting is the automatic 6 speed.

but im keeping my finger crossed.

i think it is an lt250 and the guy don't know what a auto and manual is
