Did 155MPH this afternoon!!!!

Went to Pocono Speedway in PA. for a few laps around in a Nextel Cup car!!!!:eek2:

Its was a gift and it was unbelievable.........I was able to hang with the instructor for 2 laps then i got passed and dropped it back....

My legs were shaking after a half a lap...........!!:confused:


it was a blast, I saw the instructor drive it in to turn one and not lift.......... no way was i doin that!!! I give these guys all the credit in the world.......stuufed in a sardine can and spun around on a rope,.........thats what it felt like!!! but no rope???


I just could not belive I was in control of that thing.......it actually took a lap or so for me to remember that this is dangerous, and its not an amusement park ride!!!!

first lap was in 4th gear at 5K RPM just for the feel of it.........if u can maintain 4 car lengths on the instuctor he'll step it up!!!

well me being the smarty pants i am, i got on his rear less than 1 car lenght,I got the back off flag shown to me first lap around, so instructor stepped it up. ran the 2nd lap at 6K RPM and I started to get nervous........3rd. lap the instructor went to race speed and started pushing it!!!!! Thats when I backed off I maintained 7200 RPM in 4th for a top speed of around 160MPH.........the guy that pulled away said he took er up to 8100 which calculate to @ 165-170!!!!!!!:eek:

And no they did not open the hood of every car that came in?????just mine?? I was not about to ask any questions!!!! I paid my $ now they can fix it!!!! Needless to say we didn't stick around too long!!!!

I won two driving experiences from the Richard Petty thing - I did 8 laps around KY speedway - its a major rush! Im not a nascar fan, but its a blast. If you can afford it - by all means, DO IT!!!

Your not crazy to do it on 2 wheels, I get my sportbike up to 160mph :macho

ive hit 180 on my 750, but thats probably more like 160-165 on radar, im sure those stock cars would smoke a bike though!!!

Get a Hybusa and trick it out and I bet you will get in the + 200mph
