I need help removing the pivot bolt out of a 450r. The only piece that is frozen is the bearing that is closest to the shifter. I tried hammering it out for a few hours but could only get it about 3/4 of an inch out so far. Any tips on what to do.

spray wd-40 all over it and shoot it vack in...try that over and over and wiggle while you pull it out

I agree with Mix...if not WD then get something from your local parts store for breaking loose rusted bolts/nuts (they have some foaming stuff might work better in this case). Drive it out as far as possible, very heavy coat all over the bolt and spray as far as possible down the bolt...put it back through, turn it several times with your wrench to move the penetrant around, knock it back out and do it again...not going to be easy...

Cool. I didn't think about putting back in and then out. I'll try that as soon as I get home. Thanks for the quick replys.

Also have someone put and impact gun on it and spin it as you hit it.
