will stock 400ex, a-arms, shocks fit on a 250ex

no, you'll have to run Yamaha Breeze shocks upside down in order to get the most travel in your front end.........JIM

nope hes telling the truth...my friend has lt50 arms and upside down badger shocks (not ready for the travel of the breeze yet) he has em on his blaster its huevofreak's he'll tell u how good it is. and yea they will also work on a 250ex and 300ex.

we measured it out to be 3 and 3/16th inchs...but we go by quality not quantity. we had them rebuilt to pep zps. he can hit anything on the track with those mofo's.

how much travel do yamaha breez shocks have, does anyone have any pics, of a 250ex, with LT50 a arms, and breeze shocks, but is there any way i can put 400ex shocks on my 250 my friend is giving me them for cheap, and i really want the extra travel

ill try to get some pics later...i dont no if the 400 stuff will work but im sure the lt50/breeze setup would work alot better than the 400 stuff. make a post in the classifieds section or search ebay u will find what u want alot cheaper than the 400 stuff.

Damn, I just bid on that short travel Loco 2 chassis on EBAY! It had the LT50 short travel a-arms and the 3 3/16" travel front Yamaha Breeze shocks. I guess now that I find out it was all a joke, I need to cancel my bid...........JIM

my buddy has 400ex a-arms and spindlesand tie rods, with modified warrior front shocks on his 300ex and loves it. alot more width and travel = better handling

yeah smokin i am sure it will fit on a 300ex but the 250ex is smalller the shocks are like 5 in of travel, and the a-arms are really short, if you put 400 shocks on a 250 with stock a-arms it would raise the 250 about 4 in higher in the front, that is why i wanted to know if the a-arms would fit, but would the breeze shocks fit with my stock a-arms, or i heard of someone putting a front banshee shock, in the back of their 250ex, that would probably make it softer right, but is the banshee shock adjustable

kxrider 250x/300ex frames are exactly the same except for rear section which has battery box holder...this mod 400ex a-arms with warrior front shocks WILL WORK.....only have to modify top of stock warrior shock......file down some of the top mount....IT WILL WORK....NO B.S.!!!! TRY IT

i don't have a 250x i have a 250ex, there is a big diffrece between 250ex, and 250x, i would buy some good shocks like elka or get mine revalved but these i am getting off a 400 are verry cheap that is why i want to use them

All jokes aside......since 250x, 300ex, 250r, 400ex a arms can all be interchanged it only makes since that the 250ex chassis would have a similar design but I am doubting it since it was derived from the Recon. Just measure...if they will bolt to the frame and the shock mount lines up the arms will work with your spindles unless the 250ex spindles mounts up differently...anyways to use a 400ex shock u will need to relocate the top shock mount.

No it will not work. My friend has stock 300ex and 250X a arms and i put them up next to my quad to see if they would fit. NOT EVEN CLOSE the 250ex a arms are narrower. so any thing off a 250X, 300EX, 400EX, 250R, ect. wont go on a 250ex. except tires and handle bars. lol

and even if they did. I doubt the hubs and brakes and all would fit.
